Some guests leave books in their rooms when they check out. These volumes wind up on a shelf in the lobby for other guests to peruse, or take home with them, if they please. The Kranepool has no specific policy towards this giveth-and-taketh-away phenomenon. It's a hotel thing, that's all.

Lo scaffale nella hall
Frontespizio dell’edizione coreano di “Tre Uomini in Barca”
Alcuni graditi ospiti lasciano libri nelle loro stanze dopo il check-out. Questi volumi finiscono su uno scaffale giù nella hall dove altri ospiti possono consultarli, e portarseli a casa, se vogliono. Il Kranepool non ha una politica in riguardo a questo fenomeno prendere-e/o-lasciare. È una faccenda d'hotel, ecco tutto.

Certe persone entrano dalla strada per sedersi sui comodi divani e poltrone della hall e godere del riscaldamento o l'aria condizionata. Ogni tanto sfogliano i contenuti dello scaffale dei libri lasciati dagli ospiti.
