La decenza di un albergo risplende soprattutto nel rigore che impiega a far sparire tutte le tracce degli ospiti precedenti delle sue camere. Deve dare l'illusione che quella camera è occupata da qualcuno per la prima volta. Non è certo facile, anche perché le tracce che lasciamo non sono tutte visibili. Il pensiero della contaminazione psichica di un luogo può ostacolare seriamente il sonno.

A hotel's decency shines through above all in the rigor it employs to eliminate all traces of previous guests in its rooms. It must give the illusion that the room is occupied by someone for the first time. This is certainly not easy, especially since the traces we leave behind are not all visible. The thought of a place's psychic contamination can seriously hinder sleep.
